How to Tie the Palomar Knot
The Palomar is my go-to knot for line to terminal tackle connection in both freshwater and saltwater. It's one of the strongest knots you can use for multiple applications.
In three simple steps, you can tie a knot which will end up being your go-to terminal tackle knot.
1.Create a loop and feed it through the eye of the hook/ swivel
2.Tie an overhand knot, but don't pull it tight yet
3.Put the loop left from the overhand and pull the line tightly, making sure to cinch everything down.
